Frequently Asked Questions
Will I Really Be Locked In A Room?
Actually, no. While most escape rooms are based around the idea of getting locked in a room and finding your way out, ours are more mission based. You enter a themed room and are given a goal to accomplish and 60 minutes to do it in. If you can't complete the task in the allotted time, some sort of imaginary peril awaits you. Our doors remain unlocked throughout your entire adventure though.
Is It Scary?
No. We're not into cheap jump scares here, we're all about our puzzles being fun and engaging for the whole group.
What Age Is This Suitable For?
A number of the puzzles in our room require a middle school education level and for this purpose, we recommend participants be at least 13 years of age. While children younger than 13 are welcome to participate, and usually have a blast doing so, we require that you book the entire room for your escape experience if bringing a participant this young. Every group, whether the room is privately booked or not must contain at least one adult (age 18+).
How Long Is The Game?
The actual escape experience takes one hour. There will be a large 60 minute timer in the room ticking down as you attempt to complete your mission. We'd recommend allowing approximately 75-90 minutes for the entire experience however as we do a briefing prior to the escape and photos & debrief after your adventure is over.
Can I Bring My Camera And Take Pictures?
No, we do not allow personal electronic devices of any kind in our rooms. Each team will get a storage locker prior to entering the escape room where they can lock their electronics for the duration of their escape. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate dismissal of team members. We will however, at the end of your experience, take a group picture and make it available to you on our social media pages.
How Much to Play?
Tickets are $30/person and they must be purchased in advance here. A room can be privately booked for a discounted rate of $210.
I Want to Play With Just My Friends, How Do I Make This Happen?
At this time, our only available escape room is a public one. We have two options for purchasing tickets for a public game. You can purchase per ticket at a rate of $30/person, in which case if there are still spaces in your time slot available (8 spaces/time slot) you could be joined by another group. Another option is to book the entire time slot. The rate to book an entire time slot is a discounted $210 so you essentially get 1 person free of cost if you book the entire room.
When Should I Arrive?
We recommend arriving 10 minutes before your scheduled start time. Arrivals over 10 minutes late may not be allowed to participate.
Where do I Park?
There is free street parking available. We also have a shared lot with parking space available next to the Woodford building on our block.
Why Aren't You Open For Drop-In's?
During this time, we are simultaneously running our current escape room theme, Lethal Epidemic, at our shop in Kelso (206 Vine Street) while doing all of the designing and construction for our upcoming theme, Excalibur, at our construction shop. Our space in Kelso is not large enough to run a full construction shop and escape room business. So, during business days, when we are not booked for escapes, we are at our other location creating puzzles so we can get our Excalibur themed room installed just as soon as possible. All bookings for our Lethal Epidemic room can be made from our Book Now page. If you have any questions or need assistance please feel free to email or call us.
I Have a 10% Coupon, How Do I Redeem It?
We have given out 10% coupons at various local events. If you are one of the lucky coupon holders, you can redeem by booking your escape in store with us. You can also book and pay as normal, then when you come in for your escape, present your coupon and we will refund 10% back to the payment method you used to pay for the escape online.
